Part II:
Title:                                        Strategic Management of Resources in the 1890 Community
Presenter:                            Eloris Speight, Alcorn State University
Given the current climate of declining public funds (federal and state), land-grant universities, like others are challenged with revitalizing their mission to better serve the needs of the community. These universities must adjust research, extension and teaching programs to address societal concerns.  This presentation provides a process, along with tools and techniques for the strategic management of resources that can be used by 1890 university leadership and staff to engage community partners in the creation of a shared strategic vision.
